Deal Request: The Modern Professional

Today's deals were requested by a young woman looking to update her business wardrobe.

Today's professional attire trends are much more relaxed and open to fun than they have been in the past.

Now, business attire is all about adding color and pattern and bold statements to otherwise sophisticated and conservative outfits.

Below, I will present three outfits I've put together that are sure to have all eyes on you in your next board meeting or interview!

And, because I always go a bit overboard when it comes to clothes, below the outfits I will also be listing plenty of other professional pieces for you to have a look at and choose from!

One final note: because of the increasing popularity of the Bandeau trend, many blouses are now made more sheer than they have been in the past. In order to wear such pieces in a professional setting, just slip on a cami underneath, and *viola* no more see-thru!

Back to School

I'm back!

Don't worry, I didn't forget about you! Life's just been crazy busy lately.

Before I share today's deals, just wanted to share a bit of good news:
The family I've been "nannying" for the past four weeks (the family with the two babies under a year old) told me that they've loved having me around this month, and would like me to stay with them for as long as I can!
I have a job lined up for the semester (and beyond)!
And I'm getting a raise!
Yay for a mostly steady income!

And now onto the post!

Now, I don't know about you, but that fact that school starts up in just two weeks (two weeks exactly from today for me), is thoroughly freaking me out! I feel so unprepared, but also kind of excited!

One of the best ways to save when doing back to school shopping is to look for "Value Bundles," like those offered at Walmart and other large retail stores.

For those of you in the MD/DC/VA area, keep an eye out for the "Tax Free Back to School Shopping Day" coming up!
Combine tax-free with what I'm about to show you, and boy-oh-boy is your wallet in for a much needed vacation!
